Meet
Lamar and Jennifer Trieschmann
Lamar was called to be a pastor at the young age of 14 years old. Lamar and Jennifer met in undergraduate school at Ouachita Baptist University and were married on June 22, 1991. Their first home was on a Christmas tree farm outside of Dallas. Lamar completed a Masters of Theology degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. After graduation in May of 1995, Lamar and Jennifer moved to Hot Springs where Lamar became a teaching pastor at Lake Valley Community Church. He served there for 27 years. Lamar is the founding pastor of Grace Church and he and Jennifer could not be more thrilled to serve the Lord through Grace.
Joe and Kelli Greenwood
Joe was called to be a marketplace evangelist and has spent 37 years in commercial aviation sharing the gospel and bringing Jesus into the workplace. He and his wife, Kelli, met at the University of Central Arkansas and married on October 15, 1988.
Their journey has taken them across the country—from Charlotte to Seattle, Tulsa, Dallas, and Hot Springs—where they now live once again. Joe has a heart for leadership and for strengthening families. From 2003 to 2017, Joe and Kelli lived in Hot Springs, where Joe became deeply involved in Men of the Ouachitas, a ministry he has led and served for more than 12 years. Today, Joe serves as a bi-vocational teaching pastor at Grace Church. Together, he and Kelli are honored and humbled to disciple and serve the men and women of Grace Church.
ELDERS

Scott Anderson
“I have been in Hot Springs for 20 years. I work as a family physician. I’m passionate about my family, healthcare, Chicago Cubs, Arkansas Razorbacks, but most of all my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’m excited to see how the Holy Spirit has been leading us at Grace and our passion for reaching out to those in need in the Hot Springs community.”

Wayne Moore
“I’m a native of Hot Springs. Born in California & moved at 3 months. Educated in HS public schools. Retired from Weyerhaeuser 2007. Loved everyday of 35 years. Passionate about grandkids (10) & 2 greats. Love golf and my yard. Wife and family come first. Pastor LT excites me with his passion for our community and his desire for involvement. Grace Church exemplifies what God has supported for Lamar to lead. I pray God will use me to be a part.”

Steve Smart
“Michelle and I have been ‘weekenders’ in Hot Springs since 2004. We raised our family and made our living in El Dorado. Professionally, I was an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, retiring just 7 months ago and now we spend the majority of our time in Hot Springs. I am passionate about my wife, children, and grandkids as well as music, writing and the success of our hospital in South Arkansas. Michelle and I are ecstatic about the vision and mission that God has given Lamar for a church called Grace, and we pray and expect the name to describe the heart of our congregation.”

Greg Robbins
“I was born in Hot Springs but moved away at 16. We moved back in 1994 and lived here since. So, I’ve been here for about 45 years. I’m a blues man so to speak and I’ve been jiving my way through it ever since. Whatever interested me, I wanted to give a shot, but most of you that know me, know me as a jeweler, which has been my longest occupation at 31 years. I also am a partner in a structured cabling company. I’m passionate about God, family, my wife Carina, and our heathen golden retriever Couper. I’m passionate about justice. The triumph of good over evil. I’m passionate about doing what is right and good, even if it hurts, and I never get tired of watching freedom fill the souls of people who finally find out the fight isn’t theirs alone. I’ve watched lives be torn apart by man only to be rebuilt stronger by Christ. This is my hope and belief in the mission of Grace Church – to be a vessel of God to others so that lives may be restored, injustices be made right, and things to be in Hot Springs, as it is in Heaven. With God’s help and the help of each of you, I think we’re on the right track.”

Lamar Trieschmann

Jennifer and I love serving the church and have made it our life mission. We both feel that Grace Church is God’s redemptive work and that it will bring God’s Kingdom to Hot Springs as it is in heaven.”

KEY LEADERS

Shelly Nichols
“I was born in Idaho and raised in Hot Springs Arkansas. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Child Psychology. God has taken me in many directions throughout my life, but the one thing that has always been constant is my love for people and my love for animals. I currently run my own business as a pet sitter. I am passionate about people. I have a love for animals. I feel God has given me the gift of empathy and mercy. I want to help others feel valued, cared for, understood, and loved. When Lamar said “Grace Church” I was ready! Grace! I don’t deserve it, but God gives it to us all. I know God was telling me to go. Be a part of Grace Church and show others what God’s grace is all about. In this way, we will love each other as Christ loves us and show others in the community what agape love and His grace is all about.”
